Lots of exciting things coming up in the next few weeks! I've just started my MPhil course at Clare College, and am looking forward to kicking off my performing calendar for this term with a recital on Sunday in Clare College Chapel, at 17:25. The programme will include Mozart's Sonata in A, K. 331 (with that famous Rondo...) and the second performance of my own Soliloquy for solo piano (premiered in St. John's Divinity School back in August). You can listen to that performance below. Hope to see lots of you there!

"To achieve great things, two things are needed; a plan, and not quite enough time."

-Leonard Bernstein

I don't know that I've ever particularly had an 'idol' as such, but if I did it would be this great man, who would have turned 100 today had he still been alive. Happy Birthday, Leonard!

Watch Masayuki Tayama's sensational performance of Rachmaninov's 3rd Piano Concerto, recorded back in February in Trinity College Chapel. I don't think I will ever tire of this masterpiece...
