Toby Hession BA(Hons) (Cantab), AMusTCL (b. 1997) comes from Peterborough, and is currently reading for an MPhil in Music (Composition) at Clare College, Cambridge. He graduated with a Double First in Music from Clare in 2018, having held a Choral Scholarship and Instrumental Award there. Between 2010 and 2015 he attended Chetham’s School of Music, Manchester, studying piano with the acclaimed Japanese virtuoso Masayuki Tayama (with whom he continues to study), and composition with the award-winning Dr. Gavin Wayte. He currently studies composition with Richard Causton, and conducting with David Hill
